Further development of this project seems a waste of effort if I don't upgrade to YMSG 16 protocol. I'm still contemplating this project's future.

A Yahoo captcha URL change has left yahClient unable to enter chat rooms, and rendered it temporarily useless. I had focused on redoing the GUI in Qt, and left further progress on this project behind. I've since then lost interest in that pursuit. When I get back to this project it will likely ramp up quickly in features, as I will likely revert back to the quick and easy (and familiar) development in Borland Builder (VCL Windows only).

Released version 1.3. Added a local user ignore feature (click the ignore button bellow the user list, or right click a user in the list). I fixed several bugs. Changes to the configuration file format will loose your old configuration (this won't happen later down the road). Made some improvements to the interface layout. Sorted the user list.

The ability to ignore users, a buddy list, and improvements to reliability have made this project a usable client! There are definitely plenty of things that need to be accomplished still. Buddy add/remove, server-side ignore, away status, away status of users/buddies, and chat font/color rendering are just a few things. The filtering system implemented to drive the local ignore filtering should pave the way for spam filtering options soon.

Released version 1.2. This release fixes a lot of usability and begins to fill out some necessary features. Fixed account manager and drop down account button. Fixed login and join to work with caps in account name. Fixed the displaying of log-in / join status messages. Got closing channel tabs fixed. Added some more YMSG 15 servers. Added a basic pager that is filled with the account's buddy list on log in. A lot to do yet.

Released version 1.1. This project is still an early beta, but I'm no longer considering it a demo. It's still lacking some usability, specifically the ability to ignore users and private message/pager features. This version now saves the account list and many preferences (in the executable's directory for now).

Released build 6. Chat user list now implemented. Lots of bug fixes. Bug in room login process fixed. Still needs support for sending PM (although you can receive them), support for Closing tabs, implementation of ignores, and notification of failed captchas.

XLibrary was rewrote from scratch. yahClient extends Yahoo Messager chat functionality to the XLibrary, and provides a windows GUI interface.
